I just recieved my DAC report in the mail and everything looks good until I get to the Drug/Alcohol Disclosure. It states "No Drug Information is on file". Shouldn't it list all of my pre-employment, DOT, and random test on there? I'm looking to jump ship for another company and tend to think they would want that info. Is it common place for "no info" or does it list everything in your driving career?
Any help or feedback would be much obliged!
What info is in DAC Drug/Alcohol Disclosure?

Not sure, but as long as it says that you didnt have any failed or refusals I wouldnt worry about it.

USIS/DAC releases copies of your report with only a limited amount of permission, and this is usually done when you submit an application to a company, but consumer reports are allowed to be released in an unsolicited manner as well. You can agree to a certain amount of information being released, but when it comes to drug and alcohol test results, the requirements are much more stringent. Your original signature must be on the release form, and it must have been witnessed in some manner.
This is why most people are not completely cleared for hire until they are sitting on the premises of the motor carrier, and why you will be asked in most cases to sign release forms both for USIS and for separate releases of information forms that are faxed to motor carriers, requesting among other things, specific questions about drug and alcohol testing performed while you worked for the former employer.
I've never seen any drug or alcohol testing information on the USIS report itself, so this is standard and nothing to worry about at all. I do suspect that USIS does compile it privately, and releases it to trusted customers for comparison, under the table, which is why some people are released in orientation and never given a reason for it. -
How does one go about getting a DAC report? TurboTrucker sent me a message but I can't access my private messages. I'm a newby in this forum. I had to save the message because my printer ran out of paper so now I can't access the information. Talk about being on the information highway!!!
