Dang....I was leaning towards "Horror" given the subject matter........

Some will find it "scary" Im certain....

But then again.....

You're right ... You no nothing about leasing ... Every one of your posts are babbling ignorance.

 

So I havent touched upon anything remotely related? No good ideas? Delved into motive , madness? Sparked anything to promote at least a cognitive response or correction? Just babbling? Really? Wheres all the lease people? Regret? Or do not regret? What would make it better? I thought some of my ideas might be a start........Im not getting any quality response.......

 

Why yes it does matter, health insurance is subsidized by the company, the company pays half of your social security tax, the company pays your vacation, pay, the company contributes to your retirement. So yes it does matter.

 

But your thinking like a logical person, companies like power so it’s not a win win.

 

Question have any of the nay sayers ever had a lease purchase or just listening to other folks. Lease purchase may not work for one but will for another. Big problem that I've seen are people coming in thinking they can do what they want. Another is not knowing how to run a business.

 

I couldn't have said it better myself. I lease at Prime (a favorite target for nay-sayers), and while I have a rental lease as opposed to a lease purchase, I see way too many paid off trucks every time I go by the yard to think that Prime intentionally makes it impossible to own the truck.

 

Yeah, not everything out here works for everyone. The folks I see fail are the ones with little to know experience driving and listen to a recruiter. I never take what a recruiter says to heart.

 

They do not create their own competition. They know the facts, which are 99.99999% of all truckers are lazy, misinformed, ignorant, gullible....

These carriers that run these programs do absolutely nothing to help anyone learn how to be successful. So, it is solely on the driver. Simply slaming on the accelerator to chase miles will ruin you.

Most people do not want to work more than just driving, holding the steering wheel and some aren't capable. I've known guys that have the right personality to make it and the drive and opportunities, but they can't do anything because their extent of knowledge in technology ends at a flip phone.

 

Have any of you nay sayers ever done a lease program? If not, then why put input on something you have never experienced yourself. And if you did, then lets see proof that you ran it as a business. My dad deals with independent contractors, since that is all his company hires. All the drivers get 60 percent of what the truck makes and fsc. Plus, pay for occ. Acc. and have to get their own medical stuff since they are all contractors. A lot of those drivers come in not thinking like a business person.

 

Yes some have done the lease purchase program and failed. If any nay sayer was successful then they would not be a nay sayer. If you were successful at something you would never speak against it unless you are evil and dont want anyone to benefit like you did.
