Boots are made for walking not driving. Per Nancy Sinatra.

I have no clue. All I know is my timberlands Pro boots with special inserts for my feet(Thanks VP shoes) and comfy soft work socks feel like heaven on my feet walking or driving.

If your a tanker driver your always going to be in boots and the proper clothing such as fire retardant shirt and pants. And those safety glasses, face shield, hard hat, and gloves better be within reach.

I drive in slippers, super soft, don't have a single piece of hard rubber in them at all.
I have a pair of boots/shoes that sit beside me, and a pair of steel toe's in my jockey box with my coveralls, hard hat, and gloves.

I get to a customer to load I hop out open my box, switch to my steel toes, put on my coveralls, and my hardhat and boom. Load me.

I have pretty bad sweaty feet and psiorsis on my ankles so yeah I wear socks 90% of the time while driving and square toe boots when outside the truck. I can't stand getting my work area dirty so I usually keep my boots out of the way

$35.00 for a resole vs $200 for a new pair. Ok @x1Heavy , i dont follow your logic this time.
