So I'm about to hit my 1yr with May Trucking. I'm ready to move into tankers. I live near Pensacola, FL. I've looked into Trimac, McKenzie, Florida Rock and Tank, and SVTN but the reviews aren't great on any of them. Mostly for terrible equipment, disorganized dispatch and not enough money....

    Any suggestions?

Reviews don't mean much; mostly whiny drivers posting.
Groendyke purchased McKenzie Tank Lines and Groendyke has a good reputation.

    Just sent in an app.

Would you prefer Trimac or Groendyke?

Any thoughts on Roger's Cartage? Can't really find that much info on them

Rogers is a division of Tankstar. I used to work for Schwerman which is also a division of Tankstar. How good the company is depends on which terminal you're out of. I don't know anything about the Pensacola terminal.

You can make good money with either one. Just from personal observation, Groendyke seems to have better equipment, but don't know which would pay the best as far as weekly paychecks. Trimac has some really high paying divisions.

I dropped by the rogers terminal in Brunswick,ga I saw really old equipment and rundown I haven't checked their safety ratings but I wasn't impressed, most of the equipment I saw it was mid 1980's including a o/o truck that belongs in a junker or even worse yet the ports but their trucks are volvos probably 2015 and newer with apus, they seemed like a nice team.

Groendyke sounds good , if I was not at my current company I would give them a shot , I know a few people that stayed on after the change over , lots of stuff running in the SE , good equipment .
