My driver was telling me his mother in law is a mail carrier, and they get audited every year with a ride along: counting every step they take and how many pieces of post they carry at each stop.

1 #### a job that requires that much “up your ###” treatment for such a braindead position
2 what are they gonna say, this year the smiths got less mail so you ain’t getting a raise?

Not delivering my mail I'm fine with. But intentionally leaving the door open on a windy ars day... Knowing full well anything put in it would be lost. That ought to be grounds for getting fired.

My little brother is a mail carrier. Easy job, but they do have a minimum they must complete.

This one woman they watched would walk 16 steps an hour and never completed her route. Part of her route was on foot and it would take her all day to do 1 block.

 

But why should you censorship your feelings, protecting there feelings classy or tasteless. You try and do the right thing until it is obvious you need to take it to the next level. If that person responded or cared to your handling it the right way, you would never be forced to continue. How about she does the job she was hired for and paid for first then see how people react to it. Some people are aHoles on either side and there parents were most likely aHoles. Dna is hard to beat.
