Trying to remember the model number..... the sightliner has windows in the front where your feet would be.

Littled update on our A model, be interested to hear what some of you more experienced guys think of this approach. Truck was single framed originally, it was cracked under the 5th wheel along the top flange and down the main web about 3 inches. That was Vee'd out and welded inside and out and ground smooth. Got 2x11' rails from P.G. Adams to fit inside and drilled them. Waiting on the UPS man to bring a few hundred bucks worth of new frame bolts so we can get it reassembled. I voted to cut off the junk frame and stretch it a little bit, but it will be my brothers ride and he wanted to keep it short so here we are, Time will tell if it holds up I reckon. 20190306_140627.jpg 20190306_131448.jpg 20190306_131440.jpg 20190306_131544.jpg

Them like to break there, but from what I see your repair will be fine. Yes better to cut off and replace. But that should work fine.

As long as your inner frame overlaps a good bit and bolted securely you should be just fine.....
