    How old is your DEF nozzle?

    Improper spray will reduce your SCR efficiency a lot.

    Do you still have the heat wrap on the pipe?

    Soot level is getting up there too

    Something to consider too is that the nox sensors always fail in default to higher readings ... Also with age they start reading more and more.

    When did you change the nox output sensor last?

    DEF nozzle is was replaced about 200,000 miles ago, it spays fine mist when we took it ouat and ran a test for it.
    I have wrap on the first clamp of the flex pipe going from dpf to src.
    The nox sensors were replaced about 120,000 miles ago, but almost 2 years, truck was parked on lot 5 months being sold.

    I droped off truck at the the dealer on Monday afternoon for Tuesday appointment. Today they called me that they looked at the truck and I have faults for open circuit for def pump, service advisor told me that he needs to inspect the harness to eliminate because most likely is the pump. Its funny because the truck didn't have any faults on ecu because they were all cleared but the derate wasn't cleared. I have to wait till Monday because they will contact mine warranty. Cant wait till Monday how much mine estimate will be.

    an open circuit code can appear whenever it happens, you may never get it to clear or youll have one that clears and 5 months later happens again. They are tough and tricky. most common spot for a failure of that harness is by the tank.
