    What stress?

I get stressed driving through Atlanta or la in rush hour, those in crazy Atlanta will drive back up on ramps and on shoulders to get by.

Have you experienced Salt Lake City at peak traffic hours? Or Las Vegas? How about I-205 in Portland? Maybe I-10 through Phoenix? The Battle in Seattle?
    Sacramento sucks during rush hour.

Then there is the nightmare in San Franpsycho and the east bay. The 101 around San Jose is also a joy. Denver is also fun during rush hour. Even Albuquerque gets a little Albucrazy.

Tucson usually isn't too bad along I-10, but is along it's main arteries from Ina south to Valencia. Gotta hit Aviation parkway.

Naturally, the worst city east of the Pecos river goes to El Paso. Yikes.

I've been to Los Angeles during rush hour. I don't remember being as stressed as driving around Newark. That place literally terrifies me.

I lived in LA ... lived in most of California. Super easy peezy don't even need GPS don't even need all my bodily attachments 1 foot up on the dash 1 hand on trying to figure out Dodgers or Lakers tonight or the beach or sunset strip. NY , PA , NJ no way Jose not now not ever not interested. My freind from Philly says the exact opposite. .... crazy

Think about the potholes to keep your mind off of the traffic.

I've lived in the SF bay area for over 40 years, and yes I know the traffic patterns very well. In all of the cities you mentioned, it's all about timing. If I'm looking at a job and see that a pick up or delivery time is during rush hour, I know how to account for the extra time, or I just pass on the job.

Native jersey driver and my home loads almost always consist of NYC. The people are idiots. Just drive slower than the traffic. They’re going to cut you off. It’s going to happen. It’s not a race. You’ll get slowed down abit but it’s better than being stopped completely to fill out a police report. Just assume everyone is an idiot and watch yourself. Not much else you can do. Over time you’ll know exactly how these folk think. I also try to drive nights there. You’ll still deal with idiots but not as many. During rush hour drive 5 mph slower than traffic.
