Whoever set up their terminal locations did a good job.
Maybe with the pay increase they can keep some drivers in the trucks.

 

Congrats. Carlisle is the closest terminal so it’s no surprise they’re sending you there for orientation. When I started my orientation was in Colonial Heights,VA but I was sent to Carlisle to pick up my truck. And back then we were based out of small older terminal just south of I-81(it was “hand me down” terminal from JB Hunt). The newer digs are from Quality/Celadon when they started selling assets to scrape up needed cash.
OTOH,I’m surprised they didn’t send you to Zionsville,IN.

 

Some of the terminals were bought from other companies and refurbished,others were built brand new from the foundation up.

 

Probably could buy the whole company (celadon) for a nice price.
Their stock is under $2.

 

How is MARTEN`s health benefits? Who is their Insurance provider, BC/BS,Cigna,United Healthcare,etc? Do they have Critical illness, Hospital Indemnity.

 

Anybody know their current cpm rate for 3 years experience?

 

Sliding scale.
About 40 cpm.
27 cpm +14 com per diem.
