It’s too expensive. I wouldn’t buy it. For me, it’s not worth more than 225k. I’d wait until the prices lower, and until it passes the public-use test. It’s too risky to buy brand new technologies like these. Whether it’s a fully electric truck, a hydrogen truck, or even a driverless truck. I would wait a year or two before jumping in. Bad decisions are made all the time when people jump too quickly on new technology that hasn’t been thoroughly tested by the masses.

 

Agree but it will have an impact on rates and diesel that’s for sure, how? It’s Anyone’s guess.

 

Electric vehicles have been on public roads since 2010, or sooner in other countries. The concept isn’t theory. It is not unsual to find these vehicles driving around cities. Now, the hydrogen vehicles you are talking about are not even on public roads yet. They are barely getting started, and their success is still to be determined.

You do realize that @Humblepie and @snowman_w900 were instrumental in the development of electric cars? From humble beginnings, they hauled $1.00 per mile freight in and out of California until they developed this prototype Diahatsu (patent pending). It’s intended for the luxury car market.

 

We are developing one for the transport market that uses 4 group 31 batteries connected to a Diesel engine to keep them charged. It’s showing great promise
