Unfortunately......i'm not the least bit surprised.

Just saying, I have never seen a class one with a "K" condition on it, and I have seen a few. It is a medical requirement that may or may not include an "L" for hand controls and not a skills requirement. Not that it shouldn't be a skills requirement also, though.

 

I didn't intend to be snarky; just saying I hadn't looked into it beyond the existence of the code.

 

Take your test with an automatic. Then when you get a rental, and its standard, enjoy.

 

Rounded gears shift easier anyhow.

 

And all that extra space in the cab....can fit 2 or 3 more occupants

 

Ain’t that the #### truth!! I asked a driver about road conditions the other day. By the time he finally understood what I was actually saying. I said #### it, whatever he says now is pointless.

 

Maybe he was trying to tell he thought it was okay but a lot of the people he met kept taking the ditch as he met them...
