My buddy works there. Been with them since September. He has a New Kenworth W'9. He makes good money and is home when he wants to be. He pulls a refer unit and sometimes a dry van if they need it moved.

 

Hey thanks. Chime your buddy in and let him say how it is. You know how buddies can be.... Really would like Cookie931 or an actual lease driver to chime in. Food for thought kindadeal. Hell not trying to be harsh, bust sad ordeal see more bad than good. And feel most of the good is just another recruiter/invested employee tapping in. But really feeling optimistic in the endeavor. Last week pay was in the red. Due to only having one trip in that week. I had went home for 5 days. This week pay is low. Had the miles but over spent fueling and took out an advance. The kw burn fuel quicker then the freightliner did. Will see how next week goes. Im still happy here with no complaints.

Good luck RoadGoddess. Wishing you the best, I've already applied with Wfx as well as rains and sons, great wide, and looking into others to apply at. Just weighing options for my best pick. Because you know as well as I do. Drivers are more than likely to tell the bad and talk about it.... But I know, that people are being successful in the lease purchase programs. Had a buddy that did it 3 times with air capital in the early 2000's and went back did it again in 2012. Brother had one through Hurricane Express in the 90's. Another good friend did one though Christner. Got into trouble with finances was doing good, and his old lady screwed him around on money and with another guy. Ended up loosing the truck. Went back said it wasn't the same as it was the first time. Just trying to get the true no nonsense bs that you will from pretty much all recruiters. Sadly the first person you talk with should be the most honest, but is likely the least. Good luck once again!

 

I know there are successes too. I've talked to them on the road. You rarely find them on here. They are too busy running their businesses.

 

Fyi.... the only trucks available as standard transmissions are the w9's.
