Find an Ag company in your state and don't cross state lines; simple as that.

Insurance is the kicker at your age no matter if it’s your wagon or theirs!
Hopefully you have a very clean driving record !Cabover9670 Thanks this. -
Will anyone insure me at 18 without it being crazy expensive. Does it help any having an old truck
-
Good luck with that insurance. Maybe you can find a little help from one of those ag outfits. Look as good as you can with what you have to work with. You do not have to spend a lot of money to look decent.
Hire a truck mechanic to look her over and get a DOT inspection.Cabover9670 Thanks this. -
An old truck does not help. It can look decent even if it is older, a binder or even a cab over. That goes a long way. Needs to be mechanically sound.
Cabover9670 Thanks this.
