Cat c 15 accert carb compliant questions

    so I purchased a new truck 05 kenworth w900 it has a cat C15 twin turbo accert it currently has the dpf filter (I live in California ) and am wondering does the C1.5 not require def fluid? An will that make it unusable in couple years ? The truck had the motor swap which is what supposed be a 2016 motor however I’m starting to wonder sorry for the newb questions sure it’s all been answered

    California’s requiring any truck in state to run SCR. I believe cut off date is 2010. From what I understand this is the last year to be legal in this state.

    Unfortunately yes. I hate to say it but the idiots are completely hell bent on doing this and going “green” even though it will crush small guys and companies out of the game.
