OMG, why is it so HARD to find a Turbo part number?
My parts places refuse to share the info!
(Because the crooks want $3500 for a rebuilt!)
Anyways, I'm a NOOB here. Been driving for 35 years, but I'm tired of working for idiots, and I'm going back to being an O/O, but truck needs a turbo..
Can anyone please help me?
(I was told Heavyd is the guy to ask.)

Call another parts dealer in a different town or even state. I had that issue once and another dealership was happy to help.
Once you have the part number, use ebay to see if someone is selling one cheap. -
4089551nx is latest updated turbo.
Doggers Thanks this. -
Parts rarely give up part numbers because too many people take the info and run.

Yeah, I'm figuring that out. LOL
I think I got the correct part number, via a friend of a friend, who works at a parts place.
Thank you all for replying. -
Did you get if sorted out? My parts guy always lets me know the part number because my truck is out in West Texas and he knows I'll get the part from a place closest to the truck.
-
Yes, I have the part number. A New Turbo arrived Saturday. (It's heavier then I would have guessed!) Now I'm soaking the bolts and hose fittings with penetrating oil. And hope it all comes off. I've never changed one before, so I'm going to have my mechanic replace it while I "help". lol
cprems Thanks this.
