How are you going to help a demon? How can you love a person who is being oppressed by wicked and unclean spirits? I'm pretty sure God doesn't want us to love Satan.

I've been around a lot of drug addicts and if anyone is under the influence of Satan and his demons, its drug addicts.

What would Jesus do? More importantly, what DID Jesus do according to the bible?

Lmfao. if a few hitchhikers and panhandlers are the worst things you guys have to ##### about you're doing pretty good. talk to me when you get to corrupt DOT officers, communities that look to truckers to support their local economy by ticketing them for anything and everything. People that can't drive hitting your truck or delivering stuff into downtown Los Angeles having kids throw rocks at your truck for no reason other than you can't kill them legally. a few bums and hitchhiker's don't bother me at all.

 

Im with you on this. Geesh people asking for a few bucks, is the least if my problems. If I don' want to be bothered. I just now my head no, and dont wind the window down. Sometimes i lusten to thier story, cause I'm bored. The best are the ones with a gas can. I always ask where is your car. Then tell them all I have is a credit card. Pull up to the pump and I will but a few gallons in it.

How do you know you're actually helping, as opposed to enabling?

 

I use the work or eat filter as well.

I will offer to go inside and buy food or give them food. What's crazy is at least 3/4 don't actually want food they want the $$.

I also offer WORK to earn money. I've been known to offer them money to polish the rims with my supplies, i have only had one guy take me up on it and he quit after like 2 rims.

I like to offer the ability and put the choice in their hands ultimately. Free will is God's way of allowing us to choose how we will live ... he will provide the means if we will get off our butts and try.

Well i also remeber i was fueling at the pilot in temple, ga. I had a man in a camo coat came up to me and said he was a vet. He asked me for money for food. I said i didn't have any. So as i continued fuelingi debated with myself for not helping him. So as i went in to get my reciepts, there he was infront of the truckers entrance. So i told him to come on in and i would buy him a sack full of burgers to eat now and he could have for later. His reply was "i only eat at huddle house". I thought to myself? Well he wasn't very hungry to turn down free food.

 

Well that was an easy one , i can usally decern the real deals from the counterfeits.
