I just switched to Loves from Pilot because they built a new one in Holland and they offer 4 cents per a gallon for points if your platinum.
I was happy with Pilot as the showers were always clean and I only used my points for laundry.
Just tryin something different with Loves. Already notice there is never parking even early
Currently Holed up in the Pilot off 65 a few miles south of 94.
I play the same game as I only fuel up every other day and like to shower daily.
Pump 50 gallons and stop and restart. Drove our fuel accountant insane until I explained my Madness

If I was still at my old job the 1 credit in a 24hr period would irritate me. Many times I’d be putting on 60-80 gallon because we didn’t have much fuel capacity and if I bypassed one I would have enough to make it to the next.
But now Petro/TA can rot for all I care. Everything is way to expensive and it’s not worth it for me to fuel there since I can get .25 to .40 discounts at Ambest locations. -

Educate me please. -
So much for fueling then parking and going in to take a shower. It will definitely make me think twice where I'm going to stop and fuel. In no way will this be good for business.

The $1 increase hasn't taken effect yet at this location in Waterloo, New York. Blows my mind though the amount of drivers lined up for the dog food buffet inside the truckstop when right across the parking lot is a great diner called Magees... and they have a casino across highway with free shuttle w/good dining options.

Running the risk off pissing off a few, but going to say it anyway. The price to shower, eat, do laundry, etc is "The cost of doing business". It costs money to live on the road. If you aren't making enough money to take care of yourself, I suggest you review your situation.

Believe me I've considered it.
Take a $5/hr pay cut, cook my own food at home, apply for food stamps (because at $10k less a year? I'd be eligible!), no last minute runs to Wisconsin in a blizzard, or "sorry you're staying out this weekend, but the customer won't take delivery until Monday." Etc etc etc.
Sometimes I think the guys in the "independent pharmaceutical distribution" business have the right idea and *I'M* the idiot for staying out here.bryan21384, tommymonza and Omega1 Thank this. -
