His home page says it all. He doesn't even have the facts straight on highway line placement.
Further review of other pages, show a direct bias toward drivers. By his intentional misdirection of Highway Safety Data, involving accidents with trucks.
Many pictures on his site, are from the "Tail Of The Dragon". Not your typical tailgating, speed demon kind of highway. Unless you're riding a crotch rocket.
How can any company, trucking or insurance lend any credit to his claims or business ethics. -
I called him and gave him fair warning if i see him videoing me i am calling 911 and reporting a terrorist threat , i haul haz-mat

My biggest problem with this is that it's a small time operation with an obvious bias against us.
To the best of my knowledge this guy is not licensed or trained for what he is doing and also he only makes money when he turns people in.
He is a self appointed "Wreckologist" ??? Where did he receive that degree?
The word isn't even in the dictionary.
Do you really think that people would think it fair for a police officer's salary to be paid as a percentage of revenue gained from the tickets he writes?
Who's to say this guy hasn't tampered with his speedometer to make it appear that the truck is speeding just to make money?
Also, you could have just passed a police officer who didn't come after you because he realized that you were only moving along with the flow of traffic but this guy would be sure to label you as reckless and dangerous in his video! -
Perhaps I missed it, but I didnt see anything on the website as to his location. How do ya know he films on Monte Eagle?

"Cheap Thrills" called his toll free number and got into a heated debate with him. He works out of his home in Chicamauga, GA. and his wife pretended she didn't know anything about Third Eye when first called.
It's not a national operation, just one guy with a big grudge against us.
Jamie Jones at OOIDA's Landline Magazine has been asked to look into this. -
About a week or two ago, I came thru Chattanooga and heard an EXREEMELY foul mouthed "lady" cussing out every trucker she saw, big time. Makes me wonder if there's a conection.

I watched one of his videos..this guy is a douchebag. He's riding beside a truck climbing a hill, rolls down his window and listens to the truck's fan come on and thinks the driver is trying to "intimidate" him.
lv gn Thanks this. -

I checked with our Business Assistance Department - Kip Hough down there said
they are aware of this company, and others like it.
They basically go around the highways, taking videos of trucks accompanied by
their running "commentary," and present those videos to the carriers. Normally,
the trucker ends up fired.
Kip said it was a mixed bag, tending toward the negative. He saw two videos of
truckers who he said "should be fired," as they were engaged in rotten driving
behavior. However, he noted most of what he heard in terms of running commentary
was way off the mark, and showed a real ignorance of the way real trucking
works.
They also were flatly deceptive at some points, making it appear that the trucks
were way closer to the cars in front of them than they were, by using
perspective and depth of field on the video unit.
However, it's hard to stop them - it's a public highway, so they were within
their legal rights taking videos in a public place.
We've received 2 calls on it so far; we'll continue to keep an eye on it.
thanks for alerting us.
