My recent experience 2018 t680 vs 2018 freightliner cascadia.. I'm voting freightshaker. Kw was impressive on the outside but it had electrical gremlins and I keep reading about other things cropping up in them. Kw batteries encased in steps which required 6 bolts to be removed just to check. Fl interior better appointed. There was no difference between kw shops and fl shops that I could see..equally incompetent.
Beat up schneider-cast-off-lemon-from-bcl notwithstanding. I still consider Freightliner to be the Ford of big trucks. Plain, boring, reliable.
Should I buy a new Kenworth???

Get a real KW.....
stwik, spindrift, gokiddogo and 1 other person Thank this. -
Probably $160,000 at the moment. The ones with listed prices are in the high $150's with 12 speed auto's. That's down $10,000 from last year.
Honestly the cost of the insurance is a pretty big stumbling block for me. We go 48 states and Canada, rubber dog #### to plutonium. I still think it's the best deal on the market when you put apples to apples, but I know the insurance on that truck would be in the neighborhood of $4,000 more a year than Casper.bzinger and Scooter Jones Thank this. -
The other thing is the Casper question. A careful driver could be well on their way with Casper, but 95/100 would turn him into a junk pile in 6 weeks.sealevel, Opus, bzinger and 1 other person Thank this.

That's not gonna go to the communist state.
