Maybe that's why they built that MONSTER coup on 15. Somebodies gotta pay for that. I mean God knows they didn't have the money when they built it.
2007 and older trucks beware.

I see many of them down here using pre 2008 trucks. Some are glider try to get away from E-log. I don't understand why DMV would let them registered their cab card in the first place when they don't want them to operate in California.Lepton1 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Don't know how you'd delete a 2002? As for a 2004 unless the cop opened the hood to check if it still had EGR there's no way for them to tell either.
-
Well now DMV has to check for CARB compliance. The reason they let stuff slide is part necessity part political.
There simply weren't enough CARB compliant trucks to do the job before. At the same time, it did give the little guys time to save their pennies for a newer truck. -
I thought they were going to start not registering trucks that weren’t compliant?x1Heavy Thanks this.

That's one of the violations on that list. Refusal of inspection.

What really amazes me was this guy was parked in a private, pay for his monthly rental space and CARB find the way to come into the yard and wrote him a ticket. If this happens in Texas, he/she might end up being shot in the head for trespassing.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
They know...

That's hilarious!! Tell us more!!Dave_in_AZ Thanks this.
