I set my trailer brake only. When the bed is up high enough I stop the bed, apply the foot brake, release the tractor brake, shift to the lowest gear, let the material push me forward with my foot still on the brake. Different types of materials will push you faster so keep your foot on the brake so you can creep forward. In some situations you will need to lock your drives in. The higher the trailer is the less traction you have.
END DUMP VS BELT TRAILER ??

As for a belt to unload grain. They are a lot slower.
I can dump 44 metric tonne of grain from my super b train hopper bottoms in under two minutes, if the facility can handle it.
A couple of years ago the local canola plant had some belt type trailers unload, it took them 20 minutes to unload 30 tons. IDK may have been more of an issue with the type of belt set up they had. -
