I use plastic bins and put the receipts in them. 4 for $8 at walmart. I don't know what changed for allowable write offs as a company driver with the new tax law.

I know they did away with the per diem. Thinking there's absolutely nothing you can write off as a company driver, unless they are expenses related to a job search.

As others have said Lazy, the tax laws changed. You can no longer deduct daily perdiem and the only way it would make sense for a company driver to itemize their deductions, is if they spend more than the standard deduction in a year. The standard deduction for a single individual (2018) is $12,000 per year...so if you spend more than $12,000 per year for your gloves, shoes, etc...then by all means you should itemize.
