If you plan to renew warranty with NTP check policy over carefully. They no longer cover injectors. This change was made without informing policyholders.

There is a lot not covered on certain renewals.
For example, on Volvo D13 and Mack MP8 engines, injector failures resulting from failed injector cups are not covered because they consider the cups to be part of the cylinder head, and the cylinder head is not covered.
Also, on Cummins ISX engines with the fuel pump failures, progressive damage from the fuel pump is not covered. So if the engine seizes from metal contamination from the fuel pump, you're out of luck.
Also, oil consumption is not covered. So if you're Cummins ISX is carbon packed, you're out of luck. -
It sounds like those people know the shortcomings of the engines they design, and then design the warranty accordingly.

The only reason NTP can do that is they aren't an insured warranty plan. They don't need to follow federal insurance guidelines. Truck master warranty is the only insured warranty and can't change there contract guidelines
