Sand is great right now in Colorado. Crude not so much, they've really embraced pipelines here. Almost every new well except for the smaller companies is going to pipe.
The wells on my ranch they've ran to pipe for crude and water. They're really trying to cut drivers out

I’m a fleet owner and trying to get my trucks out there. Can you point me in the right direction? TIA

That is the definitive answer to all anyone really needs to know about the Teaxs oil field.
I went the water route and now haul crude. I'm glad I went that route just for the extra opportunities tanker gives.
Easiest tanker work I've done is hauling acid, that is a breeze and pays well.
This poor kid is gonna lose his mind on 285.

It makes zero sense to me that the main artery into the busiest oilfield in the United States is only one lane in each direction for long stretches with “construction” that’s never completed or even worked on.
I drive at night so I’ll be headed out of the basin when you’ll see a semi going 45 MPH the other direction and traffic backed up behind him a mile because no one can pass.OnTheEdge Thanks this. -
Been there. One of my least favorite areas to haul crude from.

I know it man. 285 is in the most terrible condition I've ever seen. Big giant potholes everywhere. My last run was Balmorhea to ozona and I still complained about the hiways!

And I'd be afraid to tell much more than that! Be like giving away our state secrets. Y'all just take comfort in knowing that Texas is the absolute last vestige of what we'd like to call the original wild wild West.
