J.b hunt bedding account

    Considering switching to jb hunt to run a regional account delivering mattresses, just curious got a few questions for any drivers that ran this account.
    How realistic is the minimum weekly pay? Will it be hard to get a higher pay than the 1150?
    What are the typical delivery points like, and how often do you have to wait to start unloading after pulling in?
    We're you feeling pressured to run off the clock at deliveries to make sure you have enough time left on your 70 to get home?
    Are the mattresses protected so you can slide them on the trailer decking or do you have to put them on a dolly?
    Any other useful info about the account is welcome, I'm seriously considering switching just for this account. Thanks

    Youre off duty to go home after leaving your truck at the yard. Never mind that 70. It's not important. You will get there when you get there. Earlier or later.

    I honestly dont know anything about that account man. What I can say is jbhunt has a lot of different accounts and if you dont like that one they are really understanding about getting you someplace you are happy within the company. If you decide to come here message. I'm not allowed to solicit referrals.

    Up near me we have 2 different DC's that run mattresses. Simmons and Corsicana. They are tough, multiple stop, heavy bedding stacked to the ceiling. I believe they are in plastic but that's not the best since sometimes you can't get a grip on it to pull it out. I have not done it myself yet but know several guys that either helped out for a few weeks to guys that switched over. It's definitely hard work. Especially if you do some hotels that require you to reload the old bedding back after you get the new stuff off. I might try it this spring just to check it out.

    I believe Corsicana is semi local in a sleeper. One day off and maybe swing by the house during the week.

    Simmons has regional and local options.

    What you asked the answer is yes to what will happen about any concerns you you'd want they will occur had those will occur. About the ones you asked such as using a dolly that is a no. It's all by hand youl get dirty and it's a #### shame. Waste of money for uniforms:(
