The secret to PFJ, is to get their fuel card or EFS. Commercial rack pricing, cheapest in Canada.
Between Loves and Pilot in the US, I’ve never needed anything else.
If Loves was in Canada, that’s all I would use north and south.
Canadian Truck fuel and leaves.

When I ran TransX that was one thing I enjoyed. I fueled at PFJ in Canada, and TA/Petro in the US or loves. I would mainly use the places I wanted to shower or I could get services done to my rig.
I miss using TA cause I would use the app to pre-book services in areas I knew I would be empty. Lol I never needed much downtime at home for that stuff cause unless it was oil changes, it was always cheaper and faster to get it done stateside.BigHossVolvo Thanks this. -
Yea, good planning and use of time.
Then Trudeau happened, and now the exchange sucks, and the CBSA is just ready to RAPE you DEAD on “Service or Repair” in the US.HighwaySuperTramp Thanks this. -
How do they know unless you're dumb enough to tell them? They can kick rocks.25(2)+2 and HighwaySuperTramp Thank this.

They like to make it up lol, I got a truck wash in Idaho Falls, and they accused me of getting new tires. My buddy got his cab tossed, and they found a speedco brochure, and accused him of getting work done. Fun times. Also the CRA is looking for out of country service and repair costs, when you get audited.HighwaySuperTramp Thanks this.

I personally only fuel up at Love’s or pilot/flying J mainly because of the free shower. I like to stock up on shower credits so I often just put in the min. 50 or so gallons.

See when I got work done I either hid the Bill's, or scanned them and destroyed the originals for no paperwork. Other than that, every answer is no.not4hire and BigHossVolvo Thank this. -
Yep same, but they’re catching on, or like I said, just making it up.not4hire and HighwaySuperTramp Thank this.

Same. I actually had a shredder in my truck.

And yes, I emptied it before I hit the border.
