thanks for sharing all of these posts you do that help other drivers.

I had one person ask me why im in college when I want to drive. my response was college makes you do things you hate with a passion. ie writing a paper on greek mythology. these things will help me out when i get on the road as it will remind me what could be worse. i feel driving is more mental than physcial. you have to push yourself to complete the delivery. plus it's the people you meet like the ones i mentioned that help you out in the worse of times and help you get on your feet.

Believe me Kinghunter, don't have to be in college to realize what could be worse. had a fairly cushy state job myself that I grew to hate. Last 5 years were the worst. Once my felony was old enough and I could find a drivng job, I was gone. Been there 24 years and ain't lookin back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

well its official I start class on the 13th...cant wait to get this started...thanx jj I only mentioned the ride along because my wife wants to see the country..i.e. she was born and raised in hawaii and we moved here in Dec....my recruiter ryan williams sent me an email but it did not state footwear, can someone help me out on this one please?

Well, today was the day I was supposed to start school in WVC. I called and cancelled my slot ,as I have accepted an offer from a large firm in Huntsville to be an Investigator for them. I will have to travel for 2 years (2 weeks on 1 week off) then I can work all local. I guess after 25 years in law enforcement I still have an itch to scratch. I think the private sector will be fun and will certainly pay alot better. I have learned alot on here and without a doubt would send anybody to Central to start out. You are a great group on here and I wish everyone the best. I will still lurk about and watch how everyone moves forward.

JJ was in Twin Falls, Pocotello and Idaho Falls for three drops at the Fred Myers so you know you can ask for a Freddie load for Home time LOL

 

Rhino says once you quit (unless you pay your school fees and still might depending if you make Central mad) it will go on your DAC report. And it's almost impossible to get a driving job with a bad report. Unless of course it is someone you know.

 

thanks for everyones help so far, i have another ??? for you all, maybe jj or 6pac can answer this one 4 me i need to get an antena mount for my scanner what kind do i need for the volvos? can i use a magnetic mount or a mirror mount or what? thanks hope to meet some of you all less than 4 weeks till i fly to slc
