For me the was a hole in the membrane between my belly and nut sack. When I picked up something heavy my intestine would get pushed into my sack. A guy could die if the intestine got in there and got twisted. I got it fixed once but was to hard headed (or stupid) to listen to the Doc and take it easy so it could heal. Now when I lift something too heavy I can feel it moving around down there

From my understanding, there’s 3 kinda of hernias: they have different names- I only remember the inguinal hernia, n I don’t recall which one it is. It’s a loop of intestine that comes thru a rip in your muscle tissue where several muscle groups come together in a triangle at your groin. The most known about is the nut sack full of intestine; but you can rip the muscle up toward your stomach too. My old man had had 2 of the 3. Last time was thru the stomach. Basically when he’d tense up his muscles it’d tighten up his mid section n squeeze on the loop hanging out thru the muscle tear. Said he would poke it back in when the tension was gone.

Far as I recollect: that kind he had last, once they sew you up, if you rip it again you’re ####ed.

I was young when it got fixed. Early 20’s. Strong as a bull. Anything I grabbed onto moved. Now I get the skid steer and move it. Lol

Mine pushed out above the nutsack. I could push it back in only if I laid down.
It only started about 3 months before the surgery.
When she was in there she said there was alot of scar tissue that was from old hernia's that they had to deal with.
So she had to cut open 5'' to be able to sew the mesh in place..

    Hello,

Could you please send me some pics of how you hang it on the trailer. Is there a frame behind it and if yes how do you store it when not in use, does it fold? I've trying to make one which will work on my RGN an the step.

    Thank you,

When I put mine on the step deck 2 days ago I made sure to just hang it over the top so you can see the plate. Lights show perfectly fine through the mesh.
