Logging is huge in my area, I contacted a few companies to explore my options and they typically pay out so much per load hauled to the mill. I just don't see it profitable after doing the math with the unload and load wait times. And alot do that 1099 BS... curious about it though, wouldn't mind giving it a shot if the opportunity arises
Erictanker Thanks this. -

Savannah ga area. It varried....25-45 per load depending on length of haul. Wood chips was about the same. Wouldn't be a bad gig if it's drop and hook, but all live load/unload.

it is my understanding although there is a waiver process they don't ever give waivers for hazmat.
