@nondriver1989
Talked to some guy that's in the Air Force at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas. He bought a truck and doing the end dump thing on his days off on the new interstate and connecting roads.

thanks for responding. How would i go about doing that though. Do i need to talk to Nevada Dept of Transportation?

Probably just find out names of the companies with contracts for the highway construction and lease on with them. I'm not sure. I didn't ask the guy how he got the work. Maybe @Ridgeline knows how to find out. He's a businessman in trucking, so if anyone can point you in the right direction, he can.Last edited: Apr 14, 2019

Are housing prices is up with exodus from Cali?Chinatown Thanks this.

You might want to track down the companies or talk with the drivers. You can get the name of the company off the drivers door. Just be careful around the pipeline. They don't like people just walking around out there. You'll know where you shouldn't be when you look around and see a lot of gasoline tankers parked or waiting to get loaded. If I were you I'd follow the trucks out to their job sites. Of course it would be my luck the job site is 200 miles out in the desert! But I believe that's your best bet is to go out there and talk with the people doing the job.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
They're up, but still plenty of affordable housing and apartments and condo's.
Met a new neighbor yesterday that moved here from Chicago. He was born and raised in Chicago and retired from some company there, but said the place is really crazy and corrupt to the extreme, so he and wife sold out and came here.
It's great here; good weather year round, no personal income taxes, no food taxes. -
Good idea. Fly out to Las Vegas, rent a hotel room, then rent a car and drive around where the road construction is going on and talk to some truckers working there.
