Thinning of the herds. Happened back in 08 happening again. Just hang on and ride it out. I went and ordered a glider yesterday. Will have it by june. Build it this next winter. Hopefully things will be ok next year!

I got to get out more, I didn't know they were in the wind business. All I ever see them hauling is sticks, bricks and steel.
TaylorMade407 and Chewy352 Thank this. -
That's how they got started.. They then branched out trying to get in the game of heavy haul and wind.
Kinda like Bulldog, But their parent company has deep pockets so they can support them and try and ride out the storm I bet.. -
I thought i had heard ats owned them
-
No they don't own Jordan...
Bulldog is owned by the same company that owns SPD / Lonestar / Wyle / Boyd bros. and I think a couple more -
Yea my in law family is about 30 minutes from Jordan's Natchez,Ms terminal and I pass it whenever I head out to Baton Rouge or down south for a load. Looks good and clean to me, they seem to have a niche in steel and other general flatbed commodities. I have seen a few of their heavy haul trailers parked out front, but it looked more for show than for sale..

I still see a few of their HH rigs every so often, mostly on I-10. Didn't know they were in on the wind energy stuff. Saw a bunch of turbine generators rolling west outta P-cola this last week.
MJ1657 Thanks this. -
You happen to be from 325** by chance? Only people from P'cola call it that! (My hometown)
I know this is three years old at this point, but some people may still be curious about Jordan and the whoke wind thing. I'll tell you this much: Jordan is DEFINITELY still very much in the wine game. I myself don't work for them, but the lil' fleet I do work for is based out of South Dakota, and I see lots of Jordans up here quite frequently--as a matter of fact I'm starting to see more and more of them parked the Coffee Cup down in Vermillion (just last weekend I saw four of them with blades in tow parked all together). I'm guessing they're loading those up near or past Watertown somewhere, as I see empty carriers headed back northbound on my way in and out of there. -
No sir, originally from Bama, and knew a few folks from that area. Where I picked that up. LolBuc Thanks this.
