There's lots of beautiful, safe neighborhoods in Las Vegas and Henderson. I'm in Zip Code 89052 which has two of the best schools in Nevada if you have school age children.
Apartment rents run the gamut from a few hundred up to the luxury thousands of dollars.

I should have done more research on the poster. I had no idea that he did not live in Vegas. It might be hard to follow trucks or talk with the drivers if you live far away. To the original poster, you might want to try Las Vegas Paving. They are the largest there and have been working the large contracts for many years. If there is a way to talk with some drivers they could tell you who and who not to work for. You can also search sand and gravel haulers in Las Vegas and come up with a couple of companies. It's hard to look for work when you're not in town. It's a lot easier when you're in person. We had a gasoline driver go over to a dirt hauler and he like it. Go for the oversized trucks because those are the ones that stay in business. Good Luck.

If you want to pull an end dump, go check out the local construction companies, material yards, ready-mix concrete plants, and rock quarries.

For hopper bottoms, if you live in an agricultural area, check out nearby grain elevators and seed companies.

I saw a guy at the fuel isle and he says he has a few brokers and uses load board sometimes. I will most definitely take into consideration everyones advice.

I be sure to cross them off my list of companies. I am looking around after 6 years with current company. Sick of sitting home. I love to run for months at time.
