Too bright with the roof lights ?
News flash...if you happen to have an incident and you were driving with your marker lights off - without an explanation on your log...
100% at fault regardless of the other factors that may have contributed to said "incident "...
and don't forget to add up the handful of violations / fines that will go hand in hand with looking "cool "
doing rounders to the lower mainland and have started seeing more & more of these trucks
baffled in BC ...

Yes because I see so many people rear ending the fronts of trucks for not having the roof marker lights on. You need to be specific, are you talking about roof lights? Marker lights? Or both.
Both have different functions, both legal and safety wise. Might need to read up a big before you go on a tangent. -

Ah ####. My phone is weird some times and auto corrects words for no reason. I meant to say bit not big, and I'm not offended by your post in the slightest. Just wanted to make sure you knew what you were talking about from up there on your soap box.
Because contrary to popular belief not all marker lights are actually required, nor do they need to be working to be in operation of a CMV. Ask me how I know.
I drive Christmas trees sugar plum. If not Christmas trees I drive glowing units. You see me coming from a while off, and see me driving away from you for a while too.
Also that was a tangent, an observation would have been worded differently. Lol what do I know though. I'm just a dumb mother. Right?88 Alpha Thanks this. -
Just a heads up bossman.
You may be coming off as someone who may not know that only your rear most tail lights and brake lights/signals are required to be working to be able to drive both at night and during the day. Since half of all trailer are flatbed our marker lights aren't up top or non-existent and yet we still don't get hit. So there's 2 sets of holes in your 'cool' theory.
Also marker lights on the fronts of trucks are only clearance lights and I'm not 100% positive but actually aren't required, neither are any other marker lights for that matter. Only signals, brakes, headlights, and tail/liscense plate lights are required to operate a CMV. Again I would have to get the MOT guidelines out to check, but last time I talked to a MOT guy he DGARA about any of my marker lights and was only concerned with Tail lights. He was in BC. -
