Become popular again in 08 model year thanks to after tratment. Frame space is a premium on our dump trucks and daycab tractors. All of ours use three group 31 optima yellow top AGM batteries. Works out pretty well.SAR, KVB, daf105paccar and 2 others Thank this.

The longer the distance from batteries to starter the greater the loss of cranking power......especially in cold weather.
