oooooooooooo, I did that. I was driving through the Blue mountain tunnel on the PA turnpike, it was 2 am and wasn't a soul other than myself in the tunnel......I blasted that airhorn the whole way through that tunnel. And right at the end I turned on my jakes..... Talk about awesome!

Yeah, my cows would just probably flip you the hoof. Now, if I'm riding my horse along the road, it may not be a pretty picture.

Now here is a complete different deal. You are passing a gold course and this guy is on the back stroke of a putt or a drive. Don't you just want to give a rip on the ol horn????? Timing is everything. :biggrin_255:

Experience, Lilbit? :biggrin_25525: I will remember that if I ever see a moose on the highway.

When there's a golf course along the interstate and nobody's around me I'll look for golfers getting ready to putt and blow the horn

Never tried the golf course one, but still love messing with the sleeping birds on the signs or posts. Always get a laugh outta me. Even if they only open there wings a little, but the best is when they fall off the sign.. lmao

    ###### lilbit, you beat me to the punch, on this lil tidbit of info, I knew a guy who had his whole radiator and hood on a T-600 KW taken out by simply tooting his horn, while a moose stood in the middle of the road south of burlington, VT. The moose had his way with the T-600. LOL!!

Guy in Missouri though it'd be funny to 'scare' the 'cow' wandering around a farmyard with his car by doing a little drive-by. Turns out the 'cow' was a 'bull' out of the pen and it GORED the side of the guy's car.
    Freakin' hilarious!

Not personal experience, strong recommendation by one who had that experience. I have actually heard it from several drivers over the years.

Any animal that could easily stick it's head in the window of a truck or look over the hood without trying is not something I would mess with, especially with the racks those bull moose have!

I generally try not to, since I got bucked off a horse when someone decided to toot thier horn.

however, the geese in the city park will wander out into the road going around the pond (the turnaround while cruising) and will not get out of the way no matter how much you honk at them, they have gotten too used to it, I discovered that one good rev from the 3" pipes under my mercury capri will move them pretty good.
