Where is everyone #5

Morning everyone!


After getting rolling and topping off with water from Walmart (yes, our service guy said put water in) I made it to the Menomonie rest area at 00:45. Didn't think I'd make it, but there is still hope.

Found some oil sludge in the coolant reservoir this morning. Motor had this issue once before. Broke a set of VV heads and was dumping oil into somewhere that got into the coolant system.

Oh well, they gave me the truck to run, said run, so I'm going to run it. Got some tax return money in savings ready to go if I need a plane ticket home. I've been bringing up issues for years and they aren't fixing them, yes, they might be "slight" on the surface, but the last time this happened to the truck, it was down for a week in Ontario getting $8000 repairs to the injectors.

Oh well, it's not my money. Got 1h50m of drive time left from yesterday that I'll start the day with (8and2). Get somewhere for a shower and maybe breakfast, then carry on to Bucyrus.

 

Mine wants me to make money....



Who knew.

 

Blasphemy!

The only things allowed to touch steak are a bit of salt and pepper, fire, and my fork and knife.

Your favorite Pornstar light came on this morning... having issues with the DEF fluid sensor it seems. Any time the jakes are on descending a grade, 30-40 seconds later the low fluid warning comes on followed by a CEL that won’t reset for the rest of the day..... warning light turns off once I get back on the “go pedal.”




Ahhhhh, just another day in this environmental paradise!

 

It looks dam good. I'm not much of a carpenter though. Come to think of it, I'm not much of anything.

What about Uber meds, emergency insulin, @snowman_w900 its bound to happen!

 

Electrical tape should cover it.

I would see that truck as a challenge. Beat it like a rented mule til it blows up or they fix it for good.
