Hopefully this is a work in progress....let’s see how communication with dispatch works out, then we can carry it over to the shop.

Agreed that the relative importance is greater between Drivers and Dispatch... but ya... :)

And did you just say “work in progress”???
Have you been attending the same motivational seminar training sessions as our DDM???

Finally dropped my Byhalia load in Elkridge Md here. Ran my clock down getting here, 20 mph from DC to Baltimore whole way here. Gotta take my break here tonight then deadhead move to RVA to get this thing fixed. Bent mirror from someone backing into it last week is driving me bonkers and the broke door latch on the driver side. Pain having to get in on passenger side, lol! And the check engine light came on right before I got here. Need other stuff fixed too, will see how long Im stuck down Was hoping to get into a newer truck if any abailable to keep moving but oh well.

Well they ended up not giving me the loan so my fiance suffered horribly literally flopping and twitching on the floor without her meds because that is what happens until couple days ago when they finally found a way to get her sedated until I get paid tomorrow. My check shows a day early plus my monthly VA check arrives too so we should be able to get all of her meds tomorrow so she can start functioning normally again. She is normal as long as she has all of her medicine since she has more than one disease as I explained. Do have some good news in all of this though, found out this week her cancer has finally gone into remission after two months of heavy chemo and radiation nonstop. So now just have the Crohn’s disease, Pseudo Obstruction disease and the 33% of a heart to deal with but those are maintained as long as she has all of her meds. Thank you to you and others that helped or tried to help and for the prayers and good vibes. I haven’t said anything because I didn’t want to complain anymore or sound like I was looking for a pity party. I sat and also thought it is very uncharacteristic of me as an ordained minister to scream and what not and to even complain about the wrong that was done I felt. I just took things before God as I should and left it all to Him in His hands. She is a fighter and fortunately is still alive and making it til paid tomorrow. We honestly didn’t think she would make it since they took my full advance away that I was using to help get her meds. Though we may actually be out of the advance rut now since my miles were real good and the advance cut in half meant less fees coming out. Though she seriously suffered and I rather would have had things been kept the way they were so she didn’t have to suffer at all.

Moved into a newer truck finally as my old one was going to be in body shop til tomorrow. In 1815 now. Going to see if my load is on yard yet, two stopper in petersburg, and Summersville, WV. All the new collision stuff doesn’t really bother me. Happy to finally get a clean truck, with not a lot of damage, lol!

It’s nice to have a truck that you can make your own - without someone else’s leftovers in it! The one I had when I first started (actually my 3rd truck in as many weeks) was the best one I’ve had - period. 1319. It was a Volvo, but it was back when they actually had some pulling power. I had that truck for 3 1/2 years. Loved that old gal. Was sad to see it sold. My Mack, who I have named Oscar (for Oscar the Grouch) is pretty solid, but I don’t live in him, so there’s a difference. But he is clean on the inside and I was finally able to get a wash at the yard today without a wait (they frown upon us locals using valuable time for such trivial things as a clean truck).
Wish I would’ve known you were on the yard. I would’ve stopped by and talked with you when I rolled in at 2:30.
