And yes, I know, Bennet owns Ace Doran...

I'm finally going back to flatbed, after 5 years running cans around Chicago, I'm done....ready to get back to doing something I like...

All three of these companies offer similar programs, except with Ace Doran, they will Lease to own a brand new flat. The other two will rent the equipment. This seems big to me as the thought of making payments on a piece of equipment I will never own seems....well, I'd rather not, but I will if I have to...(i'm also considering buying a flat outright, but external reasons, make that....not as practical in my case).

I would not let the trailer deal be a deal maker, plenty of places to get trailers. I would concentrate on which one has the best program for your needs.

TSH will lease a new or used trailer. Your choice.
    Several brands to choose from.

One thing you might want to investigate is that some of the “agents” for these companies also have their own fleet of trucks. Just because the companies advertise high paying, “exotic “ loads, doesn’t mean that the o.o. leased on is going to see them. Ask around some of the drivers you might see.

I leased to Admiral Merchants for a year & a half. Good company overall, laid back without the big brother feel of that Blue Star outfit. They have some decent direct customers scattered about but in the end I went back to independent authority & have no regrets. I think all 3 are top tier
