When loaded my truck air bags are nearly maxed out on height. When empty it rides about right. Can I adjust this or does it sound like a different problem?
Air bags to high, is there a way to adjust so it rides right?

What do you mean maxed out on height? Did you measure and compare the ride height loaded and empty? The bags will inflate as weight is added but the height should stay the same.

Are you sitting on level ground??
If your drives are on somewhat level ground, the height of the bags should not change, if they do it is not an ajustment problem, possibly a valve problem.OldeSkool Thanks this. -

Take it to the dealer. Do not adjust the air bags yourself. If there is any driveline damage, you own it.

Probably leveling valve.
Fix as soon as possible or you will destroy your universals.OldeSkool Thanks this. -
leveling valve, fairly common item to fail, maxed out airbags is an accident waiting to happen, if a bag blows, it can cause loss of vehicle control and a rollover.

You can check your ride height to see if it’s right. While bobtail measure from ground to bottom of frame rail between tandem then measure from ground to center of axle outside of wheel subtract the 2 that’s your ride height. For example if frame measures 25 and axle is 10 your ride height is 15 inches. You can simply call the dealer of the make with the year and model they will tell you what number it should be.
