Does anyone have a grease jockey installed on their rig and how much did it cost you? If it's not called a grease jockey and you're not sure what I'm referring to (I'm sure there are other brands with other names out there) I'm just referring to one of those automatic greasers that fluffs a little bit of grease into all the parts of your chassis that need it.
Really I'm just afraid of missing something on my own grease jobs and having something do it for me as I chug down the highway would be...well heck, I can be lazy in SOME respects can't I?
Cheers

I had one on my truck was real nice but i couldnt keep the ones greasin the u joints workin
-
We've got 2 and are looking to remove them. The lines plug and then you have dry joints.
-
So how did you know it wasn't greasing the u-joints? Was it the same kinda deal as cowjock there? Lines just plugged? And if it was plugged lines, how did you fix em or did you end up having to go manual on the u-joints?
Also, I'm still wondering if anyone can ballpark the cost for parts and installation on one of these things.

-
Well it would work just fine until we drove forward or back then it would twist the lines off
,,, never could get it to work on the u joints
-
-
What? No one here pours a gallon of grease on the U-joints every year after the easter bunny drops his eggs?
Sheeze...and here I thought I was getting mechanical advice.
EDIT:
I should make note that I am indeed not kidding about looking for a ballpark price on the thing.

IIRC they are about 2K installed an most shops parts and LABOR.

We disconnected ours and added grease zerks as well. Was a PITA to keep working.
