    Seeing what other tanker companies are near Winston Salem or in NC. I been with Superior Carriers for over 6 years but not working enough for my liking. I care to run hard and get paid well for work I do.

    Yes and my dispatcher just retired. New ones in training. Terminal manager doesn’t know how to dispatch. Like said before to many drivers and not enough work. Used to be great. I would run to anywhere for 4 plus weeks before going home. Now it’s out and back. Can’t make money sitting at home. With insurance rate gone up to 100 a week for family I need to work harder.

    Shouldn't your retiring dispatcher be training his/her replacement?

    That aside, the name of the company escapes me, but I recall seeing an ad for a company based out of Georgia that hauled nasty chemicals and paid 60 cents per mile. They ran regional only, I believe.

    I was just looking at Eagle Transport based in Rocky Mount, NC with four other terminals in the nation's most military-friendly state.

    He gave them a years notice. The girl he was training took another job and quit the week before. She was doing a pretty good job. Communication was actually a little better than status quo. TM just needs to earn his pay check till they get someone trained. Not a big deal as long as the loads get covered and customers aren't impacted.

    Have you considered Time DC? They've got a terminal in Conley GA, but I know guys park their trucks at home.
