I go over Cabbage / Dead Man / Whatever you want to call it pretty frequently now a days... either that or Grapevine / Donners.

This crap is common place. First substantial downgrade and someone has brakes smoking already. Either way he’s doing 90mph all the way to the bottom. Enforcement on the Grapevine is huge for CHP. Both climbing and descending... Its marked 45mph and I get my doors blown off all the time by trucks I passed climbing. If it was about safety those guys should be at a #### crawl...

Most foreigners don’t use the jake brake seems to be my takeaway... seen it more than once.

    Mute.

He had a CDL and should’ve known better. Period.

This is very true. That's what needs to happen

If now days families of victims killed by guns can sue the manufacturer, then I think it's high time they can sue the FMCSA, Trucking driving schools etc any other business or programs associated with the person responsible

Made it to the Joplin peehook. So much for what was supposed to have been a nice, square, easy tarp job...

Ah. I didn't see that. It's becoming a very common issue that is effecting each of us every day whether we realize it or not. Not in some distant way but it surrounds us constantly, even when we aren't traveling. Thanks Washington !

Can we build a wall around DC and contain the politicians ?
It would be a start anyway.

That CDL may have been issued by TX where there isn’t a hill to be found. Then his boss sends him down Vail the very next week. Driver can’t refuse the load because he’s here on a green card. Who’s negligent in that scenario?
