well there you go....if you cannot get your turning under control, you will pop tires, and most likely damage wheels. getting you "let go" more in the future.
can you contact the school you went to and get some re-training?
Put in 2 weeks and was let go. Who will hire me?

I believe the fleet owner is a 1099 to Panther, the driver is a W2 to the fleet owner. That's not the way they are all setup, unfortunately. The driver does not own the equipment therfore doesn't have a lot too loose in the business. How much you are at risk is part of determining whether you are W2 or 1099. Now if fleet owner leases the truck to driver that will change things.

Carolina Cargo might hire you. www.carolinacargo.com
Leave the self-doubt and negativity out of any employment interviews or you probably won't find a new job.
Act confident and say flatbed just wasn't for you. -
For right now it appears that I am going to be driving a straight truck, until I feel confident enough in the truck to do everything safely.

Yeah, I was just curious.
When I was looking for a job, Bolt Express and Rush both contacted me with a 1099 job offer. I hung up on both.
I didn't know that any w-2 expedited companies exist. I thought they were all outright o/o, or shady 1099. -
Did you mean me?
If so, I was "curious" if Panther was 1099, because I heard it was.
I have no interest in expedited freight hauling. I'm happy where I'm at.
But thanks just the same!Last edited by a moderator: May 1, 2019
