I never seen the MP8 mated to an Endurant transmission. Typically it's a Mdrive or a manual transmission. Just like the Volvo D13 will only have a I-shift as an option for an automatic
Did you mean an Eaton Fuller 13speed? The Endurant is the 12speed automatic from Eaton. Also 7 year old truck with 250k what did these trucks do? In the shop more then on the road?Last edited: May 2, 2019

The last Mack I drove was a brand new ( at that time) 2008 with the 505 hp mp8 and a 10 speed . That thing would pull . The only problem was it spent more time in the shop than it did on the road. Constant problems with emissions junk , electrical problems of all sorts. That thing quit me one night ( and I've never seen this happen before or after that night) it lost all the lights then died wouldn't start. I popped the hood and saw the alternator had melted a hole in the side of it big enough to put your fist in. That Mack was nothing but trouble.

A 2012 Mack is basically a Volvo with an old Mack cab on it. I like Volvos. I like Macks too, but for OTR you get much better creature comforts in a Volvo.
