10 roger. Looks like someone put kings pins in before and may have smacked the edge with a hammer while driving the old king pins out. Prolly didnt wanna tell no one so they cross threaded the mother ####er back in and let it roll.

Only reason I noticed anything was when I was greasing my truck, I noticed grease seepin out around the cap. I started unscrewing the kingpin cap and realized I just opened a can of worms. King pins are good and tight, just gotta figure out how far I'm gonna go on the cap deal now.

 

It looks like I ate a box of fruit roll ups right now

This will sound bad but weld it in if you don't have enough threads left. They ended up doing that to one of mine after the other spring shop eff it up. The told me the do it all the time normal practice. Dont think about buying new spindles ! $1500 for the right $1800 for the left from KW ! I elected to have them welded. If you do weld just run a light bead round it so you can grind it off later to do a pin job.
