I think they look similar Bridget Fonda in 1994's City Hall looked real close to Jennifer Jason Leigh in 1991's Backdraft. I confused the two of them.

Silver Eagle makes (2) single axle dollies there's the spring board one and then there's the Falcon. The Falcon is the heavier more filled in looking model that's the one that we have.

Rebecca DeAmora was also in Backdraft she was married to Kurt Russel in the film, she looked just like Jennifer Jason Leigh there.

I got to drive the Kenworth today.
    Never drove a Kenworth before.

Have you driven the Kenworth. I liked it I had 30,000lbs today and yeah the truck takes the bumps kind of hard, but I'll tell you what with my Volvo I would have felt every bit of that 30,000lbs load and the truck would have been running like a dog with it's tongue sticking out.

This truck I did not feel the weight of the load like with my Volvo and it pulled much better going from Pittsburgh to Erie and kept a better average speed as well.

I didn't think the cab was that small and this truck seemed to maneuver fine to me, if we had a couple of these guys I wouldn't mind.

Historically, K-whoppers have never been able to manuever too well. I guess they fixed that problem with these newfangled ones.

Kenworth seems to be making a run at Volvo’s customer base and also Internationals base. I’ve seen a lot of Volvo or International fleets now starting to have some Kenworths come in.

Naptown and MACK E-6 Thank this.

I can see the old school trucks having a hard time maneuvering.

I think these newfangled ones that are targeted at major corporate fleets and not owner operators are built more for city routes and regional hauling.

I know last year we got more KW's and no Volvos when the new trucks came in. I don't know how that translates to other terminals, but I'm seeing fewer Volvos overall.

Sounds like an attempt to lure the type of driver that refuses to be caught dead in the likes of a Volvo.;)

My turn to Newark was cancelled tonight. Oh well, relaxing night home in the rain with adult beverages.
