20 large is what someone here said. Given Harrisburg’s financial situation, I wouldn’t temp them

Sleepless nights knowing that in this current market we're all about 1 bad month away from shutting the doors.

Just keep those trailers loaded and those trucks moving. #1 goal

Maybe its more if you find out you're late when they pull you around at the scale to tell you in person?

Never been late paying my KYU theft, and too lazy to look it up, so no idea for sure. i do know that if you forget to add a recently acquired truck to your KYU vehicle inventory there is a $161 violation to pay when they see it come into the scale. The driver was told "Since your company has a KYU account in good standing, we won't impound the truck for that." Chock full of win right there.

LOL. I thought it was fake news fulfilling a PA gov't requirement for free.

Thanks for posting this, friend. You made my crappy week seem like it was nothing. A minor “I cried because I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet” moment LOL.

At least the bug class was free.

    Just paid KYU Update $15.00 penalty, $75.00 + 15.00= $90.00 for 2600+ miles

You must of just missed the required abs cut off? I think it’s right around 1997, because I know the trailer and truck cut off times were a bit different. I’m like 6 months past cut off on truck and trailer. ABS can be a booger. I took two weeks off once tearing down my wire loom trying to find bare spots on the harness. Ended up being an internal short in the abs Ecm, which wabco said they didn’t make anymore. Went searching scrap yards, nothing. Ordered one off ebay, that’s when I learned the frame mount D models can’t be reprogrammed. I got the 6modulator/ 6 sensor one. So when I installed it my old code went away and a new code popped up for open circuit on the two modulators I didn’t have!! Try telling that to dot.

After a day or two on the phone with Meritor they had ONE 6s/4m unit in warehousing in KY and got my distributor to place the order for me. Still got a brand new 6s/6m frame mount D model ecm. I’ll let it go for cheap.

Good Luck in battle to ya.

Update on the cooling situation. I did 1 gal of Restore to 9.5 to 10 gal of water for 90 minutes. The truck runs cooler and doesn’t require the fan to be on all the time at 84* ambient temperature. It will also cool itself down if it hasn’t been a long pull. I will call Cummins since it is their product and ask if a second go around would be harmful.
On a side note, Cat makes a flush/clean product. You leave it in for 30 days or 10,000 miles. Don’t quote me on that.

You are correct, Sir. The build date on my MY 1998 truck is a few months past the ABS exemption date.

I'll have to do some research
