Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I know what you mean. In my 14 years of driving OTR I have had one load into Florida. Just one.

 

Federal, they (Crete) does that on purpose. Watch what happens when I take 3 weeks.

 

Don’t know how they do it now but I used to hit up the night shift to put my next load on me before I dropped. Getting a Florida load in the middle of winter is like getting vacation.

I’m taking time for awhile burnt out I told crete I need a breather for a week or so I was out for about 5 weeks I told them I’m
Getting sick of the northeast I’ve spent a lot of time there I was just in New Hampshire Rhode Island and Connecticut and New Jersey

 

I want atleast 2500 a week minimum sorta hard when I get stuck up in the north east I wonder if crete wants me to leave that keeps out I’m definitely done and moving on I don’t care if I go up to the north east but get me out quickly

 

I’ve been through Montana quite a bit had a load a couple months ago maybe a bit longer picked up outside of NYC went to Billings I usually don’t go out to the west coast but I hit Oregon and Washington California earlier this year also went to Arizona

 

But mostly I was in the mid west and back east

 

I’m content with 2500-3,000 a week anything less I’m saying something and when I talked to my asset manager she said she was doing her best I doubt that

 

I try to stay out of Lincoln unless I’m going to see my family out there I’m usually there about 48 hours for truck or trailer problems
