    Trying to learn is good but you need start from beginning )))) do you know what is SCR and how it work? Stop forcing engine to regen. Your problem is not related to DPF. Your engine is now in locked condition. You can't do anything. Don't waist your time and take it to dealer. men that engine is GHG17. You don't have warranty on it?

    I’m not familiar with your Diagnostic software. So I don’t know what capabilities you have or don’t have. I’m lucky enough to work for a company that buys me the Professional software. Which means I can do everything’s dealer can do. I do remember, when we had the standard software there where many things in the Troubleshooting I couldn’t complete.

    I have it commercial one. Diesel.
    3 days dealerships diagnostic my truck.
    Them still can’t find it problems.
    Them tell me things a like I am stupid customers) like we try to figure out. Best for you. Because the parts to expensive. And we don’t want to spend to much) you know. It’s kill me same times. Like I don’t know anything)!!!

    I’ve been in your situation. My company buys an excellent (and expensive) warranty. But the dealers I have to work with make it less than desirable.... , I’ve been down a truck for 5 weeks, It went in for a simple oil leak. It got a new fuel pump, a multiple sets of injectors (and other parts) before they had it RUNNING again. I’m sure if the dealer hasn’t figured out your troublecode by now, they are talking to Detroit Tech and now it is out of the dealers hands as well.

    The future fix to for this situation is to adresss check engine lights as soon as it appears. From this post I know you have diagnostic software with the ability to initiate a regeneration (this is a big help) But you need to check your diagnostic codes as soon as it appears the first time!!!

    Take the SPN number and the FMI number that you get from your computer and do a Google search in the format “ SPN #### FMI ##” scroll until you find a website that starts with Freightliner or DDCSN and run though the diagnostics as best you can. A Regenreration won’t fix every fault, which you know now.

    But when you have a check light. Get the code ASAP (sometimes you can get it off your dash), Post it here ASAP, and someone might have a work around that will keep you going, (not always but sometimes!!)
    Unfortunately the issue you had this time needed immediate dealer level attention and couldn’t be helped hands on troubleshooting,

    Still with dealership)
    I am going to take it out from them if them not fix it by tomorrow.

    Today them told me. It’s errors with Regen. Error with code.
