Got home last night after running a couple of dedicated loads. Will be doing a little dedicated next week and then hitting the system after my youngest son's birthday and our oldest daughter's visit. I need to get on a nice system run.

Did a couple of nice dedicated loads. Got home again last night. Tomorrow I'm heading into the system for a while. First system load on this out is over 1100 miles to Missouri. Good way to start a pay period. 401k is kicking butt too.

Got into Markham a little before 1600. Will get assigned a new load tomorrow. Hope I get another with some good legs under it. I'm running until the 27th and want to stack a bit o coin.

Taking the kids to a cabin in the mountains late June. About time to make some memories with them. Sliding rock and horseback riding are on the list so far.

He passed his tanker and hazmat tests. TWIC and HAZMAT background checks have been applied and paid for. He's looking forward to testing out at the end of the month. I'm sure he's looking forward to the paychecks even more.

Check out the Virginia creeper trail some time with the kids. It's a 15 miles bike trail downhill the whole way. Bike shops in town will shuttle you to the top.

That sounds awesome! When we lived on the Right Coast, our first, "Big" vacation with the kids was river rafting in WV. Before we left, we sat down with all five, popcorn in hand, and watched Deliverance.

    Memories...you can't beat 'em.

I did raft guiding in WV for Blue Ridge Outfitters back in 1990. Spiked dam, upper and lower staircase etc were some of the areas. Might have to drag the kids up there in the next few years.
